Show Me My Path Spell
I was looking through my folder of papers (I’m kind of a hoarder, I collect things.. especially papers, but as it turns out that’s quite handy when doing a project like this) and found this pretty petal paper. I really liked the ‘flow’ of the petals and it reminded me of a spell I found on The Village Witch website. I changed the words slightly when I wrote it down and decided to keep the page quite simple which is really hard for me! I’m not used to doing simple or minimalistic things, but I think it’s good to get out of the comfort zone.
I was drinking Earl Grey tea (also fond of this as well as coffee) this day when the tea bag had broke. I still drank the tea, as when this happens I like to think it’s a small sign and someone is trying to tell you something! So I always do a little tea leaf reading when this happens. I’m not great at it yet as like with a lot of these things, it takes practice. My mum was really good with tea leaf reading – she told me of one she did before where she got the initials of the person she was going to marry in future.. when she did get married, the initials were the same! A lot of people would probably think it’s a coincidence, but I don’t believe in coincidences with things like that. There’s a little magick in everything !
I decided to do a page on winter as.. it’s winter. I really didn’t like it when I was little, and loved the summer. Now, as I’ve got older, I hate summer and like winter! Autumn is my favourite season really but I don’t mind winter and spring. I think the reason I don’t like summer so much any more is my allergies, the heat and all the bugs. Again, I tried another minimalistic page and I think it turned out okay. I’m not too sure of the black ink on the one side as I used canvas paper, but it isn’t bad. 🙂
